East West Augmented Reality app for iPhone and iPad

The East West Link Alliance has developed an Augmented Reality app to show a view of the proposed East West Link design.

This is viewed from two locations:
- the pedestrian bridge over Onehunga Harbour Road
- the grass verge opposite The Landing Restaurant and Bar (off Onehunga Harbour Road, Onehunga).

The app uses the camera on your mobile or device to pick up the augmented reality marker. This allows it to recognise its location and to track the environment. Then the new East West Link design appears in place.

You can travel to the location, launch the app and follow the instructions to view the proposed East West Link design on your device.
